How it works

Check the lead before your team works it

Lead distribution software connects incoming leads with the systems that handle them. For a contractor buying from several providers, the useful check happens before the lead lands in the CRM and before the source treats it as an accepted purchase.

1

Connect your sources

Your providers send leads to Opta through API or webhook connections. We coordinate setup with each source, map the fields and organize campaigns around the leads you buy.

Bringing sources together lets Opta compare incoming leads against the same history, including leads from your own website when connected.

2

Apply your buying rules

Check for duplicates, invalid contact details and leads outside your target area or property criteria. Rules can differ by campaign, so a roofing campaign does not have to use the same settings as a windows campaign.

You decide what qualifies. Our team configures the checks and helps adjust them as your buying changes.

3

Deliver accepted leads

Leads that pass your rules go to the destinations configured for that campaign. Send a lead to your CRM and the connected tools your team uses to call, text or follow up.

Opta supports multiple destinations without a separate routing charge. We test the delivery and required fields before your sources go live.

4

See what each source sent

Review lead volume, spend, acceptance and rejection in Opta. See which filters rejected leads and use those records when discussing delivery with your providers.

Use your CRM to measure appointments, sold jobs and revenue. A lead passing your intake rules is not a guarantee that it will close.

Rejecting a lead and avoiding its charge are different things. A source must support and honor your agreed rejection rules for the rejection to affect billing. Sources that cannot do that can still contribute lead history, but blocking their delivery does not automatically save the purchase price.

Lead filters

Set rules around the leads you want to buy

Keep your targeting specific enough to protect your budget, without ruling out worthwhile opportunities. Opta gives you configurable checks across your connected sources.

Duplicates across providers

Compare phone and email details against prior leads, including leads bought from other sources. Choose the lookback period and which campaigns should share duplicate checks.

Too short a window can let repeat purchases through. Too long can exclude a homeowner with a new project. A roofing and a windows inquiry may deserve separate treatment.

Contact information

Validate contact details before delivery, including checks for disconnected phone numbers and invalid email addresses. Reject leads that fail the checks configured for your campaign.

Valid contact information makes a lead usable. It does not establish the homeowner’s intent or guarantee that they will answer.

Service area and property fit

Apply ZIP code targeting and property filters such as ownership, property type and home value. Match the settings to the projects and areas your business serves.

Optional credit proxy filtering uses a modeled estimate. It is not a credit pull or a financing approval.

TCPA litigator blocking

Calling someone who’s sued other contractors under TCPA

Opta screens for known TCPA litigators and blocks them before they hit your dialer.

Integrations

Keep the tools your team already uses

Opta sits between your lead sources and your sales systems. Keep using your CRM for pipeline and sales activity while Opta manages incoming lead checks and delivery.

We connect home improvement CRMs and follow-up tools, configure field mapping, and manage changes when you add a source or update a campaign.

Managed onboarding

We handle the move and the day-to-day changes

You should not need to become a lead integration specialist to manage your buying. Opta’s team works with your sources and sales systems to get the connections in place.

  • Review sources, campaigns, filters and destinations with you.
  • Coordinate source setup and configure field mapping.
  • Test accepted and rejected leads, source responses and delivery.
  • Plan the cutover and manage later source or campaign changes.

Timing depends on source responsiveness, access and integration requirements. We confirm the launch plan for your account.

“The platform is very easy to navigate and the reporting has been a huge improvement.”

Pricing and fit

A subscription based on your lead volume

Opta’s pricing includes validation, enrichment, integrations and routing. There are no setup fees or annual lock-in. Our team manages onboarding and ongoing support.

We look at your sources, lead volume and current spend to put together a quote. Savings depend on the leads your rules reject, their cost and whether your providers honor those rejections for billing.

Built for contractors buying leads

Opta is designed for home improvement businesses buying leads for roofing, windows, bath remodeling and other home improvement work.

A useful starting point is at least $7,500 per month in current or planned purchases from compatible lead sources that support real-time rejection. The source mix matters as much as the total spend.

During a demo, we review what you buy, where it goes and which rules could make a difference. You can assess the fit using your own numbers.

Questions

Before you connect your lead sources

Is lead distribution the same as assigning leads to sales reps?

The term is used for both. Opta focuses on collecting incoming leads, checking them against your rules and delivering accepted leads to connected systems. Your CRM or sales tools handle your sales process. If you need rep assignment, territory rules or round-robin queues, we review how your existing tools handle that before proposing a setup.

Why check leads before they reach the CRM?

A CRM can help manage duplicate records after delivery, but merging records does not reverse a lead purchase. Checking the incoming lead first lets Opta return a rejection to a compatible provider while the source is deciding whether to accept and bill for the delivery.

Do I pay for leads Opta rejects?

That depends on your source’s terms and integration. When the source honors your agreed real-time rejection response, it can exclude the rejected lead from billing. If a source does not honor that response, blocking CRM delivery alone does not remove the charge. We confirm the arrangement for each provider before launch.

Can I connect my website leads too?

Yes. Your website leads can enter Opta alongside purchased leads. That gives connected campaigns a shared record for duplicate checks. You can also include sources that do not support billing-based rejection, with their delivery behavior configured for your needs.

Can a lead go to more than one system?

Yes. Opta supports delivery to multiple destinations, such as a CRM and a follow-up tool, without a separate routing charge. We configure the destinations and field mapping for your campaigns and confirm the receiving systems’ requirements.

Does Opta sell home improvement leads?

No. Opta manages intake, filtering and delivery for the leads you generate or buy. If you are looking for additional providers, our home improvement lead sources guide covers providers, buying formats and costs. You can also request introductions there.
