Case study details
American Remodeling is a multi-product home improvement contractor based in Pennsylvania. Their product lines include roofing, windows, siding, bath, kitchen, doors, gutters, and epoxy flooring. They previously used LeadConduit to manage their web leads before switching to Opta.
What they were worried about
The team had been through enough tech migrations to know what usually goes wrong. New webhook URLs to coordinate with every vendor. CRM integrations that don’t translate cleanly. Days of downtime while things get rewired.
Randy Graffa, Marketing Director at American Remodeling, was initially nervous: “I was worried we would not get fully integrated within three days. I was also concerned we might run into additional tech issues, as there usually are with technology updates and migrations.”
What actually happened: a 2-day migration
With Opta’s free done-for-you onboarding, American Remodeling migrated 36 lead sources, configured campaigns across multiple products, and went live in 2 days.
No major technical hurdles. No leads dropped. Randy didn’t sit on a single vendor call. Opta’s team coordinated outreach to each lead vendor directly, eliminating the back-and-forth that usually stretches migrations into weeks.
“Just about flawless. I was extremely impressed and honestly surprised that we were able to get integrated as quickly as we did without any major issues.”
Why they switched from LeadConduit
American Remodeling had been running their web leads through LeadConduit. Two costs were climbing: the platform itself, and the outside tech support needed to keep integrations running.
“Costs were getting too high, and we were also spending too much on third-party tech support. Opta has been very hands-on with integrations, and the overall costs are lower. We’re saving money on both platform costs and tech support.”
On top of the platform cost coming down 58%, American Remodeling stopped paying separately for integrations, data validation, and data enrichment. All of it is included in their Opta subscription.
On the platform itself
Opta is the only lead distribution platform built exclusively for the trades. Every feature is built for contractors, every release ships fast, and there’s no bloat to pay for or navigate around.
Randy noticed the difference quickly:
“I think Opta is very straightforward. The platform is very easy to navigate and the reporting has been a huge improvement. They’re building software specifically for the home service industry, so I really like that.”
For contractors on the fence
“The team at Opta will get the job done and work extra hard to make sure everything is set up correctly. They also work directly with lead vendors to ensure integrations are completed properly and smoothly.”
